As soon as Lara arrives at the citadel gate, accelerate the motorcycle
forward and turn left. Turn the motorcycle back to the right and use
the nitrous oxide feeder to crash through the barricades and jump over
a deep pit.
Immediately turn the motorcycle to the right, drive along the slope
and turn left into the open street to the east and run over a
crocodile (1), either here or around the
corner.
Near the end of the street, turn left and run over a second crocodile
(2). Continue to the end of the street
and follow it around to the right, to the left twice, and then back
right.
Drive through the area between the columns. Angle the bike to the
right and accelerate the bike past the dragon (3) as a swarm of locusts attacks. Angle the
motorcycle to the right, and then turn left to return to where
Sergeant Azizas is lying.
Lara pulls up to where Azizas is lying and gets
off motorcycle. She puts him into the side car, and drives him back
to the truck in front of the dragon. The dragon is fascinated by the
show of bravado by Lara and Azizas and begins to watch them
intently.
Lara dismounts the motorcycle and lifts Azizas out of the side car.
He is duly impressed and tells her so, "You are a strong
woman."
Lara decides after all they've been through, they ought to be on a
first name basis by now. She gives her name to him for the first
time, "Lara." She decides to return the complement, "And you handled
yourself pretty well, Sergeant. You've got the codes. What now?"
Offering her help.
Azizas clambers up to his feet and points his automatic weapon at
Lara, "After all we've been through, I think not. This is merely
insurance."
Lara is perplexed at the sergeant's actions, "Against what?"
"Against your stopping me from doing my duty," Azizas tells
her. "Someone needs to drive that truck in there."
"Kamikaze," Lara nods solemnly as Azizas shakily walks to the
truck.
"Whatever it takes for my country," Azizas tells her, bravely. He
climbs into the cab of the truck and bids her farewell, "In the next
life, then, my friend."
Azizas starts up the engine and Lara immediately runs off. He drives
it off the ledge and crashes the truck into the dragon. The
explosives detonate and the explosion blows Lara back.
When Lara rolls over and crawls forward, she finds the dragon blown in
half. The dragon feebly wriggles as Lara steps past it. She watches
the dragon fall still, and gives the memory of Sergeant Azizas a
solemn salute and she steps through the gates into the citadel.(follow plot)
